MEET OUR TEAM

DaNita joined our team in August of 2022, and has many years of experience working with non-profit organizations and building programs that benefit the community and those they serve.  She has a heart for sharing her time, talent and treasure, and is dedicated to making life beautiful for those she meets.

 

She shares, “My husband and I were neighbors to the Dove family when Alex was young.  We became donors and volunteers for the Alex C. Dove Foundation after Alex’s passing.  My family has experienced the challenges and heartache of family members living with cancer.  In this role I will have an opportunity to share compassion and empathy with all those who are experiencing life-threatening illness.  I feel the Alex C. Dove Foundation will be a perfect place for me to share my heart, and show kindness and care to those who stay at Dove’s Nest. I can’t think of a better way to use my professional and personal experience, and God-given talents, than to serve as the foundation Director. I look forward to coming alongside the Dove family to make Alex’s dream a reality.”
